Brazilian Jiu Jitsu The age old cliche has been that size and strength are the most vital attributes to combat sports; This cliche has been negated by the introduction of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu...
Although its origins lie in Japan, Brazilians have re-invented the art into becoming one of (if not) the most affective forms of mixed martial arts, and/or self-defence today. Jiu Jitsu is so vital that most, if not all professional MMA fighters fare poorly without a firm grasp in this art. Submissions from ground level is the name of this game and Jiu Jitsu will teach you effective methods that work, towards submitting your opponent or controlling an attacker.
After a year of training, you'll be more fit, and in shape and will be transitioning and flowing through movements better then ever before. Not to mention, your arsenal of techniques will grow, and skill in the sport will increase. After years of training, you will have a tendency to dominate opponents, ensuring their will to continue is non-existant. This is the fine point of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Note, our class's provide for basic, and intermediate levels of training as well as advanced levels--targeting individuals looking to compete in jiu jitsu and/or mma competitions. Clinch recommends that 1/2 of your attendances to Jiu Jitsu class are accompanied by your own gi, of which will help your game become alot tighter. A gi is not mandatory.
Cardio Kickboxing A part of the Muay Thai Kickboxing curriculum, excercises will help develop strength, increase tone, and help with flexibility while using core martial arts moves and techniques.
